| My experience at PoliceOne.com. It seemed like
a good idea at the time. Invite law enforcement professionals to PursuitWatch and
encourage their participation in a healthy debate on the issues of police pursuit. I
firmly believe that law enforcement expertise and cooperation are critical to effective
pursuit policy. It became obvious pretty quickly that it was not such a good idea, so I
bowed out. I will always wonder though how many of the people who responded were actually
law enforcement officers and how many were wannabes. I really don't think
that many of the thoughts expressed are those of most law enforcement professionals. The thread was moved by PoliceOne and you can no longer follow it. Posted is a May 7th snapshot to the thread. See PoliceOne's explaination here. |
