FELTONVILLE-December 16, 2003
— A stolen car chase in Philadelphia's Feltonville section overnight ended with deadly results.
A 2nd district police officer shot and killed a suspect after the chase ended with a crash in the 500 block of Thelma Street.
Officials say the officer approached the crashed car and ordered the suspect out of the vehicle, just after 2:30am. When the suspect suddenly tried to run the officer over, the policeman fired a shot, killing the driver.
No word yet on the suspect's identity. The officer was not hurt.
